I’ve spent the last few days here at the International Magazine Centre event - Magazine Street created by Nikki Simpson. By the time you read this, I will have done my talk “In conversation with Peter Huston” on freelancing and how I started my graphic design career designing by magazines. Praying it all went well. I love magazines. There’s a mag for every industry! I’ve worked on literally hundreds, including finance, insurance, parenting, gossip, and TV veterans’ titles. Over the years my work has also adapted to branding, strategy and marketing design. Currently, I’m working on a redesign of a magazine. I put “Magazine fonts” into Google and one popped up called “Daily Magazine”. So, it makes sense to have it as my font of the month…
